It is difficult to articulate quite how cool Cape Town is. There is always something going on and we have no doubt you will wish you had stayed for longer. From the white sands and crimson sunsets of Camps Bay and Clifton to the King of the World sensation atop Table Mountain, there is a labyrinth of fun and intrigue in between.
Cape Town is all things to all men (and women for that matter). Whether you’re after a downtown beer and a burger, or a Sex and the City style shopping trip crammed with bubbles and Prada, you’ll find it here. One thing we love about this city is that everything is close by – it’s basically one big circle around Lion’s Head, so although you might be in the bustling hub of Long Street one minute, you can be up in the Table Mountain National Park or on the beaches of Clifton the next. MannaBay is situated in Oranjezicht at the base of Table Mountain adjoining the City Bowl. It’s just a five minute taxi ride to the V&A Waterfront which is a popular tourist hub. If you want to steer clear of the madding crowds however, and enjoy some hidden local treasures, then the MannaBay team will let you in on some of their favourite secrets. We don’t want to give too much away, but you might like to consider a coffee at the Daily Deli in Tamboerskloof or a Saturday stroll through the food market at the Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock. We’d recommend a lunch at the charm filled Cafe Roux in Noordhoek or how about a dinner with students of the performing arts at the Stardust Restaurant in Rondebosch? Just a few of the tantalising treats that await you in Cape Town...
