Enjoy a full day cultural tour of Cape Town and get to grips with the new South Africa. We proceed through the historic Malay quarter, drive through the remains of what was a vibrant community - District Six - and visit its living museum.
After this momentous experience we enjoy a walking tour of the townships. We return to the city for lunch before departing on the ferry for Robben Island and see the infamous cell where Nelson Mandela spent the majority of his 27 years in prison.
